Funds are raised for the many projects of the Friends, from hiring students to education programs such as SKIP and Archaeo Apprentice to Gray Ratsnake conservation efforts to interpretive signage and publications to special events, comes from various sources. We host special fundraising activities such as the canoe raffle and pancake breakfasts. There are user fees for some activities and we apply for grants for many others.
One of our greatest sources of support, however, is you. Individuals, businesses, corporate donors – every little bit helps us to enhance the natural heritage education programs at what is a very special place – Murphys Point.
