Snake Talk Season at Murphys Point

At Murphys Point, Gray Ratsnakes come in all sizes, and they make some pretty funky shapes too!🐍

To guarantee a sighting of a Gray Ratsnake on your visit to the park, our Discovery team has begun their Snake Talks for the summer season! Snake Talks take place every day at 2:00pm outside of the Park Store until September 1st!

Come hang out with one of our captive Gray Ratsnakes and learn about and how staff, visitors, and the Friends of Murphys Point work together to monitor and protect this species at risk.

Canada Day BBQ at the Main Beach

Come out to the Murphys Point Main Beach for a Canada Day BBQ on Monday, July 1st from 11:30 – 1:30pm! Enjoy burgers, hot dogs, sausage on a bun, and free Canada Day cake served up by the Friends of Murphys Point volunteers! There will be gluten-free and vegetarian options available, and cash, card and tap will be accepted to purchase food and soft drinks. See you there!
