Congratulations to Doug and Susan of Westport (ticket #0441) on winning the 2019 Friends of Murphys Point Park canoe raffle! They are the lucky winners of the beautiful birch-bark canoe made by Chuck Commanda, Algonquin First Nation.

The draw was held today at noon at the Park Store. In the photos, Friends President Stephanie Gray is flanked by Treasurer Don Goodfellow (left) and Director Ken Barr.

Thanks to everyone who supported the raffle and who came out to see the draw. Also a huge thank you to our volunteers and Park staff, who worked so hard to make the raffle a great success. Stay tuned for the final tally!
