Please mark your calendars for Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 1 p.m. when we will meet IN
PERSON at the Lally Homestead, Murphys Point Provincial Park, for our Annual General
Meeting! It is so exciting to be able to see our Friends again in person!

We will kick things off with the short business meeting that summarizes last year’s activities and includes the election of three directors. The business portion of the meeting will likely last
about 20 minutes (bring a folding chair) and will be followed by an educational nature exploration activity in the vicinity of the homestead led by one of our all-time favourite Murphys Point interpreters – Tobi Kiesewalter. Please come prepared for a bit of walking outdoors.

Of course, the most exciting thing about the AGM is that paid-up members can vote!
Memberships are $10 and can be renewed by sending an e-transfer to friendsofmurphyspointpark@yahoo.ca. New members can find our membership form at
https://friendsofmurphyspoint.ca/memberships/ and can e-mail it as above. Donated amounts over the $10 membership fee will receive a tax receipt. Please encourage a friend to become a Friend or consider making a donation.

Directors will be elected during the AGM. The package follows and some copies will be
available at the meeting. If you’d like to get involved or have questions, we hope you’ll join us on April 23!
