Again this year we are hosting our Annual General Meeting in a virtual format given the current state of things with COVID-19 in Ontario! Hopefully it won’t be long before we are able to gather together again and celebrate all the wonderful things about Murphys Point Provincial Park.

Please mark your calendars for Sunday, April 25, 2021 at 1 p.m. when we will host a Zoom Annual General Meeting. Members have already received a package and information, but if you are interested in attending please register here, and the Zoom link will be sent to you:

At the meeting we will summarize last year’s activities and some of the plans for this year. The business portion of the meeting will likely last about 20 minutes and will be followed with an educational presentation by our very own Mark Read, Acting Discovery Leader at Murphys Point. The whole event is expected to last about an hour.

Paid up members can vote at the AGM. How exciting is THAT?? Memberships are $10 and can be renewed by sending an e-transfer to friendsofmurphyspointpark@yahoo.ca. New members can find our membership form at https://friendsofmurphyspoint.ca/memberships/ and can e-mail it as above. Donated amounts over the $10 membership fee will receive a tax receipt. Please encourage a friend to become a Friend or consider making a donation.

Directors will be elected during the AGM. The package will be displayed at the meeting. If you’d like to get involved or have questions, we hope you’ll join us on April 25!
