Catch the Friends of Murphys Point Park at the Perth Farmers’ Market on Saturday, July 11 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.!
We’ll be celebrating snakes at the event! Park staff and the resident Gray ratsnake will be on hand for a few hours, giving folks an opportunity to learn all about this amazing threatened species, ways to protect them, how they live, their special characteristics, research at the park and the important role they play in our ecosystem.
It’s also a great opportunity to discover more about Murphys Point and the Friends. Learn about Friends’ programs, such as our summer students and support for education and Gray Ratsnake conservation; the array of creatures that call the park home; camping and amenities such as the fabulous Silver Queen Mine and beautiful beaches; and how you can get involved with fundraising and helping with our work!
Be sure to stop in to visit our booth and check out all the other wonderful vendors at the Perth Farmers’ Market!
